Roses...in the train station... :) :)
But we found this huge mall. Wow. I was under the impression the French didn't have malls like we do...but I was wrong. There was literally a store for everything you could ever want. I found a sock store that I'm totally going back to (I'm aware this sentence is about to end with a preposition, so I'm added a parenthetical statement to avoid it :P).

Then, we went to go see "The Artist" at a movie theatre near the National Opera. Oh my goodness. Gold plated, like, everything. So freaking beautiful. It's apparently one of the most expensive districts in Paris. The movie was really good. It was a silent film, but the soundtrack was so amazing. It's one of those that I actually think I would purchase. Plus, there was a really cute dog in it that reminded me of my baby :)

Then, we went to go see Galleries Lafayette and Printemps (two of the biggest [and most expensive] stores in Paris) because they have some of the most beautiful vitrines (window displays). They were so cool! The ones at Printemps are designed by Chanel. I felt so high class being in that neighborhood. We got ice cream, even though it was pretty chilly tonight, and had a great time. Also, I learned that the city decorates for Christmas at the end of November...so I'll get to see Paris all Christmas-ified. Yesssssss!

I feel....rich.
I didn't even get home until about 01:00, and still had all my packing and cleaning to do. I'm going to bed now, because I need at least an hour of sleep before I leave for Berlin at 06:00. I'm so nervous, and I can't quite figure out why. I guess I've just never done this kind of thing before. I'm not sure if I don't feel like myself, or if I've just waited for this for so long that it seems too surreal. I'm going to try to make the most of it that I can. I don't think I'll ever have this sort of opportunity again. I'll keep you all posted!!
Wish me luck :)
